Tina Ballerina is a real ballerina who brings the beauty and grace of ballet to your party. Is your child crazy for ballet? Is Christmas their favorite season because of the Nutcracker? Or do they simply love their ballet costume? No matter what their connection to ballet, Tina Ballerina is a charming, real ballet dancer who will deliver a party your ballerina will simply adore!
When Tina arrives, she will greet the birthday child, and then she will perform a short ballet dance. She usually dances with music from a classic ballet, though if you have an older ballet lover with a favorite ballet, Tina will use a selection from that work. When finished, she invites all the guests to be ballerinas with her for the party!
Tina takes out her toe shoes, and lets all the ballerinas have a chance to see it and hold it. She explains the different parts of the toe shoe, then puts it on and ties the ribbons. After that, the ballerinas will fix their hair into proper ballet style, and then perform a series of stretching exercises. All along the way, Tina shares tips and secrets which are used by ballet companies, and learned back stage with actual dancers. After the stretching exercises, Tina leads the guests with a few dancing games so that everyone is properly warmed up.
Now the parents are asked to leave, giving Tina a chance to teach the guests the dance they will perform when the parents come back. They learn the moves and steps for the dance, then the parents are called back in (cameras ready!), the music starts, and the dance troupe perform their ballet for the parents. When the dance is over, Tina answers any remaining questions, and poses for photos with the guests.
When possible, Tina will dance in her toe shoes. For this, she needs either a smooth floor (such as a hardwood floor) or a carpeted floor with a tight weave, low nap carpet. If the floor is tile or some other surface, Tina will dance in her ballet flats instead. The only difference is that with these shoes, she cannot be on her toes.

Princess Giselle is such an elegant, graceful, majestic performer, when she arrives at the princess party, your guests will be convinced they are meeting a real princess! Due to her years of dance study, Giselle has excellent posture and bearing, a key characteristic of a princess. (Don't believe that? Watch Princess Diaries!) When Princess Giselle enters the room, the guests in their princess dresses will gather around, and ask, "are you a real princess?" Of course she is, and she has come to teach the guests all they need to know to be real princesses, too!
The young and beautiful Princess Giselle greets the princesses as one of the helpful men at the party brings in Giselle's case. After meeting the young princessses, Giselle teaches them how to sit like a princess. This insures that everyone has a regal deportment. Next she will read a princess story, with the help of the birthday child. When finished, Princess Giselle leads all the girls in a princess song, following the song with a delightful game of Glass Slipper. This game, which must be played politely, is a bit like Hot Potato, in that you don't want the slipper to be in your lap when the music ends. Yet it is important to avoid rough housing or poor manners even when playing competitively!
What else does a princess need to know? She needs to know how to curtsey, and this is an art in and of itself. Princess Giselle teaches all the princesses a proper curtsey (and it is important that the guests are wearing their princess dresses) which they can use when greeting the queen, the king, or anyone one of nobility. Where might a princess certainly need a curtsey? At the royal ball, where she will also need to know how to dance! True to her promise to teach them how to be real princesses, Giselle now teaches all the guests a dance. When they have learned the dance, everyone dances together to a song Giselle brings.
As her last act, Princess Giselle has the princesses form a line. One by one they come up to her, kneel on the special pillow, and Princess Giselle coronates each of them as a princess. It is a fitting end for the princess party for each guest to be pronounced a real princess, and a moment they will remember for a long, long time! Your daughter will truly feel that she has met a princess, learned how to act like a princess, and become a princess thanks to Giselle. Shelley is a beautiful lady who performs Shelley Doll, as well as fairy tale princesses. Shelley's approach is to make the experience special for the birthday child, and the guests. Shelley takes the time with each child to help them experience the wonder of the day. Her magic program is 20 - 30 minutes, featuring different puppets according to the character to help with the magic. Of course the birthday child helps too! Along with her program, Shelley will face paint beautiful pictures on the children, or make fanciful balloon sculptures depending upon which options you choose. Her face painting is quite extraordinary - some of the best in the DFW area. We recommend her for girl parties of 12 or fewer children. If over 12 will be at the party, book her for 1 ½ hours to give her enough time for her lovely face painting.
Shelley has a pleasant, engaging manner which puts kids at ease. When she is face painting, she talks sweetly to the children. Shelley arrives in her costume, winning hearts from the moment she walks in the door. While she is welcomed by all age groups, you will see the most impact with children 4 - 6.
